JV soccer mercy-rules White County in opener

The JV Indians sent a statement with a big 10-0 win at White County on Monday evening, opening the season with a mercy-rule victory.

TFS scored the 10th goal with 14 minutes left on the board, ending the contest. Bogdan Jesic had four goals and three assists for the Indians. Andrej Drakulovi had three goals and three assists, and Jorge Gomez Prieto had two goals and two assists.

Filip Popovic Cejovic had the ninth goal of the game in the 19th minute of the second half. He had come on as a sub to take the penalty. 

"Overall it was a great game with multiple moments of beauty," exclaims coach Cole Hansen.

The Indians are 1-0 to start the season.
