MS Indians take 3-1 win at Towns

The MS Indians grabbed a key road win at Towns County on Monday, 3-1.

A 2-1 lead in the first half held up. Towns County scored first on a breakaway, but TFS responded on Sebastian York's corner kick that was touched by Max Damron and finished off by Alex Jelly.

Jelly returned the favor a few minutes later for a JT Head finish on what proved to be the game-winner. In the second half, the Towns goalkeeper parried the ball out after a TFS shot from distance. Jelly was there to finish for the 3-1 lead.

"The boys played pretty well," says coach Travis Mullis. "Towns County had a dense defense and we had to figure out how to overcome it. Looking forward to playing them again on Wednesday at home."

The Indians are now 3-1-2 on the season.
