MS Indians take fourth place in season-ending tournament

In a wild Saturday that featured three matches for the MS soccer team, the Indians finished fourth in the GIAA Tournament. TFS won its first game before dropping the final two.

The Indians first beat St. George Episcopal, 4-0. Ian Borchers, JT Head, Alex Jelly, and Sebastian York all had goals, with Jelly adding two assists and Borchers one.

TFS then dropped a tough 2-0 match to Trinity Christian. In the finale, the 3rd-place game, Tallulah fell 1-0 on a free kick goal in the second half.

"Couldn't have done it without the parents who really helped out by providing a tent, food and drinks, and plenty of encouragement," says coach Travis Mullis. "Very proud of the boys' determination until the final whistle."

The Indians finish the season with a 6-3-2 overall mark.
