Franklin County races past TFS 16-5 on senior night

The #4-ranked Indians lost to powerhouse Franklin County on Monday evening, 16-5 on a night in which their seniors were honored.

Tallulah Falls scored a run in each of the first two innings and three in the third, but the Lions had a four-run second and five-run third prior to a six-run fourth. TFS recorded only three hits - Chris Waldron, David Dutary, and Gregory Mendez. The latter had an RBI single in the second, while Dutary had a two-run single in the third.

Caden Walker took the loss on the mound after giving up eight runs (four earned) across 2.2 innings, walking seven and giving up three hits while striking out one. TFS moves to 17-7 overall on the season. Seniors Zaiden Cox, Dutary, Mendez, Waldron, and Walker were all recognized following the contest.
