Alumni Success Story: Maggie Jackson '21

Maggie Jackson, a 2021 graduate of Tallulah Falls School, set her sights high when she left for Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Determined to compete at the collegiate level in golf while also pursuing her dream of becoming an architect, Jackson embraced both challenges with focus and determination.

Golf quickly became more than a sport—it was a training ground for leadership and perseverance. “I played in every tournament, both fall and spring, for a total of 10 tournaments a year,” Jackson recalled. “We won four times as a team. My sophomore year, we came second in the SOCON.”

Her commitment to athletics shaped her confidence and personal growth. “Knowing I was a part of something – helping a team, this gave me a lot of confidence and helped me to grow as a person,” she said. She credits her coach with supporting her balance between athletics and academics, which allowed her to take advantage of two study abroad opportunities during her time at Wofford.

This spring, Jackson graduated from Wofford with a B.S. in physics, a B.A. in art history, and a minor in math—an impressive combination that reflects both her intellectual curiosity and her determination to excel. She is now continuing her journey at Clemson University, pursuing a graduate degree in architecture.

From the fairways at TFS to the next chapter of her academic and professional career, Jackson exemplifies the drive, resilience, and vision of a Tallulah Falls School alumna.
