TFS Announces Middle School Students of the Month for August
Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for August in all grades as follows:
Sixth-grade teachers named Harper Watson as the Student of the Month for August. Known for her kindness, she makes sure no one is left out and creates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. She shows maturity by speaking up respectfully when she has questions, demonstrating a genuine desire to learn. By planning ahead and working diligently, she takes the initiative to deepen her understanding and set an example for her classmates. Harper embodies the character and curiosity we hope to see in every student at Tallulah Falls School.
Seventh-grade teachers named Kayleigh McEntire as the Student of the Month for August. Her teachers have quickly recognized her for her kindness and larger commitment to our sense of community here at TFS, both in the classrooms and on the softball and swim teams. She comes in every day with a sweet smile and warm greeting for the teachers, and she is motivated and gives her best effort in everything she does. She has been observed cleaning up messes that aren’t hers and offering to help her classmates and teachers just because it’s the right thing to do. She is also a member of the newly formed news club, where her enthusiasm and excellent organizational skills are put to good use.
Eighth-grade teachers named Javier Crespo Nuevo as Student of the Month for August. Javier is a diligent student, seeking to understand and do his best in the classroom and on the tennis courts. We have seen Javier bravely initiate conversations with his new classmates and teachers. He practices humility and responsibility, asking questions when he needs help. He is a great team player and enthusiastic participant in the TFS community.
