Indians of the Week: August 8-13
TFS has named the Indian of the Week for the week of August 8-13. This week's selections are Sarah Jennings and Milos Invancevic for high school, and Avery Keim and Josh Lander for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK
Sarah Jennings - Volleyball (HS Girl)
Sarah Jennings had a great start to her senior year this week. Leading the team in kills, digs, and 2nd in aces. Sarah brings so much more to the court than her skill, though. She brings great leadership. She leads by example with her hard work and selfless attitude, always putting her team first. She never puts her teammates down and instead tries to motivate them to do better with her actions and words. -coach Matt Heyl
Milos Ivancevic - CROSS COUNTRY (HS BOY)
Tenth grader Milos Ivancevic joined cross country for the first time and quickly made his presence known by being a dedicated runner, a positive presence, and an impactful teammate. Milos is unafraid of hard work and discomfort. He enjoys being physically and mentally challenged, knowing it will forge toughness and a more determined will. His peers already appreciate his tenacity, influential attitude, and initiative. -coach Scott Neal
Avery Keim - Cross Country (MS Girl)
Avery Keim consistently worked out over the summer in preparation of her eighth grade and third cross country season. A strong communicator with a heart for her teammates and a positive leader with a diligent work ethic, Avery began day one of the season encouraging her teammates, pushing through her own discomfort in the humidity, and setting the tone for a significant season. -coach Scott Neal
Josh Lander - Cross Country (MS Boy)
Josh Lander is a middle school Team Leader who worked out some over the summer, thinks about his teammates, applies himself with vigor, and demonstrates a GREAT attitude. Josh ponders his leadership role on the team, is astute and resolute, and is highly encouraging when his peers do well. -Coach Scott Neal
