Indians of the Week: May 1-6

TFS has named the Indians of the Week for the week of May 1-6. This week's selections are Dani Prince and Sam Ketch for high school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

Dani Prince - Track & Field

Junior Captain Dani Prince has been a "connector" all season (and for that matter, her whole TFS career!). Whether coordinating team inspiration, tie dye day, birthday celebrations, or being a voice of encouragement, Dani epitomizes GREATness in building teamness with a heart of empathy and ideals. She recently earned a berth in the state sectionals in the 300 meter hurdles where she narrowly missed out on advancing to the state championships. She is the leadoff leg on the region and section champion and # 4 ranked girls 4x4 relay team who will vie for the upper echelon podium landing at Barron stadium. -coach Scott Neal

Sam Ketch - Track & Field

Junior Captain Sam Ketch is the Region 8A-D1 discus champ, the sectional discus champ, the #5 ranked platter thrower in AD1, and #58 out of over 1000 in Georgia high schools. Beyond his growing rankings and accomplishments, Sam is an outstanding ambassador of the sport, a spot-on peer tutor in the throws, and a positive, poised, and persistent mentor and team captain. Astute in observations, distinct in the initiative, and experienced in both success and colossal failure, Sam is undaunted by pressure and simply goes out there and does his best. -coach Scott Neal
