Indians of the Week: November 13-18

TFS has named the Indians of the Week for the week of November 13-18. This week's selections are Adrijana Albijanic and Grayson Penland for high school, and Payton McEntire and West Ridlehoover for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

Adrijana Albijanic - Basketball

Adrijana Albijanic showed a strong competitive spirit in our loss against White County last week. She was just shy of a double-double with 8 points and 12 rounds closing the gap from our lack of scoring and rebounding in the first half. -coach Lowell Hamilton

Grayson Penland - Swimming

Grayson Penland is a third-year varsity swimmer who has started off this season strong. This past home meet, Veteran's Luau, he finished first in both his individual events and helped his relay team to two first-place finishes and two GHSA state qualifying times. He was the top point scorer for the boy's team this meet. -coach Tamara Griffis

Payton McEntire - Basketball

Payton McEntire had a great game against River Christian on November 16. She finished the game with 6 points and 10 rebounds. She has shown tremendous growth in our first three games and is going to be exciting to watch as the season progresses. -coach Jenny Long

West Ridlehoover - Basketball

West has been a huge contribution for the middle school boys A-Team. As a 6th-grader I look for West to continue to grow and develop over these next few years. West has proven himself with his work ethic, grit, and competitive nature. This past week, West had 4 assists, and 6 steals, and continues to lock down on the defensive end. -coach Nathan Stanley
