Caroline Ball - Cross Country
HS Girl
Senior Team Leader Caroline Ball ran her personal record 5k (24:20.11) while passing 24 people over the last two miles of the AT&T Starrs Mill XC Invite as the TFS #3 runner. Additionally, Caroline's roles on the team are Celebrator, Connector, and Communicator. She is quite adept at helping others thrive with a little recognition for their efforts and contributions to the life of the team. Caroline pushes herself while balancing life and its many demands. She is tough yet even more praising of others, and she is fueled by helping others achieve their dreams. -coach Scott Neal
Clay Kafsky - Cross Country
HS Boy
In his first high school cross country race, freshman Clay Kafsky ran 21:01.69, fairly even splits, and a personal 5k record while placing 64th amongst all 170 freshman boys running in the freshmen, JV, and varsity divisions. Clay is competitive, learning cross-country strategies in both racing and practice thresholds. Clay displays a dedicated work ethic, confidence in who he is, and a deep desire to see how good he can be. He routinely practices with purpose, is easily motivated, and is disciplined in the necessary tasks to improve. Clay is a multi-sport athlete (XC, swim, basketball, soccer, and track & field) who, presently, is the best example of how all five - yes five! - of his sports actually integrate very well to help success in each. -coach Scott Neal
Margo Morris - Volleyball
MS Girl
8th Grader Margo Morris is the Lady Indian of the Week for Volleyball. Margo has come into a new school and team and blended seamlessly. Margo's greatest strength may be her attention to detail and the effort she displays every day. In a short time, she has become a leader among her peers due to her performance and vocal support in practice and games. Her approach to developing her individual skill and understanding the game embodies what we want for all of our players. We look forward to the second half of the season and Margo's progression. -coaches Tim Corbett & Hannah Satterfield
Jackson Cantrell - Tennis
MS Boy
Indian of the Week for Middle School Tennis is seventh-grader Jackson Cantrell. Despite missing practice for a week, Jackson came out ready to work with a tremendous attitude. He has been very coachable and always enjoys himself while practicing. Jackson plays with hustle and grit, and his strong defense always keeps him in the point. Jackson is looking forward to the first matches this week as he will play singles for the first time. -coach Anthony Cox
