Indians of the Week for week ending January 22
TFS has named Indians of the Week for the week of January 17-22. This week's selections are Allie Phasavang and Jedd Thomas for high school, and Callee Elrod and Sam Belk for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK
Allie Phasavang - Basketball
HS Girl
Allie Phasavang is a great team player and is very coachable on and off the court. She played with great leadership vs Prince Ave JV girls basketball team and was in constant communication with her teammates and coach throughout the game. Allie`s 100% effort and heart on the floor! -coach Jo Kimbrel
Jedd Thomas - Swimming
HS Boy
Boys nominee is Jedd Thomas. Jedd works to help out wherever he can at practice and meets. Jedd's hard work at practice paid off at the 1A Championship invitational, dropping 1 second in his 50 yard freestyle and 2 seconds in his 100 yard breaststroke. -coach Rachel Nichols
Callee Elrod - Cheerleading
MS Girl
The Girls nominee is Cheerleader Callee Elrod for Indian of the Week. Callee always comes to practice and games with a smile. She is willing to help others learn new cheers and is quick to encourage others. Callee is a very positive asset to the cheerleading squad! -coach Chrissy Van Hooser
Sam Belk - Swimming
MS Boy
The Boys nominee is Swimmer Sam Belk. Sam's attitude at practice and efforts to improve paid off at this past weekend's meet. Sam dropped a collective 8 seconds in two individual events at the 01/21 Middle School invitational. -coach Rachel Nichols
