Ashli Webb - Tennis (HS Girl)
Congratulations to Ashli Webb upon receiving the Indian of the Week award. Ashli plays the Lady Indians' number two singles position. She played in two matches this week. First, in a well-fought battle against one of the best that Banks Co. had to offer, she emerged victorious with a score of 8-1 in a pro- eight set match. Next, East Hall came to Tallulah Falls School for the first time to challenge our ladies. Ashley led the way against her opponent with an impressive two out of three sets win 6-1, 6-2. In both of these impressive matches, Ashli was a tenacious opponent. Her speed on the court helped her to reach and return her opponents' shots that impressed those in attendance. Her ability to consistently return her opponents' shots made them feel as though they were hitting against the backboard. Congratulations Ashli for leading our Lady Indian team to an awesome 2-0 start to our season. -coach Randy Morris
