Indians of the Week for week ending March 26
TFS has named the Indian of the Week for the week of March 21-26. This week's selections are Chloe Erwin and Andrew Erwin for high school, and Bella Hulsey and Elijah Hornsby for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK
Chloe Erwin - Precision Rifle
HS Girl
Chloe as a Freshman is an inspiration to the whole team. She is constantly at the top of the scorers at practice and encourages her peers to shoot better. Chloe has brought that to the last few matches and during the State Sectional Match she shot a 286 out of 300, coming in second place including both teams. Her score was only surpassed by her brother tying the TFS Record. -coach Katie Keister
Andrew Erwin - Precision Rifle
HS Boy
After leading the team in scoring while defeating the previous 4-time Area Champion in the Area Shoot-Off, Andrew Erwin our team Captain came to the State Sectional Playoff match with the same focus and confidence. He led his team to an 1135 - 1109 victory against Harrison HS a 7A school from Kennesaw with a 289 tying the 3 Position school record! Andrew a Senior is looking forward to our team winning the Semi Final next week to win a spot in the State Championship. -coach Katie Keister
Bella Hulsey - Golf
MS Girl
With the exception of our inaugural match, Bella has achieved low medalist honors among all female golfers in FOUR consecutive matches. Bella has a great game, but her most vital asset is revealed when she has to work out of trouble. Her knack to regroup mentally and physically plays a considerable role in her ability to post lower scores. That ability underlines her competitive spirit. Just a 6th grader, we look forward to a bright future with TFS Golf. -coach Tim Corbett
Elijah Hornsby - Soccer
MS Boy
He has been a joy-filled player that has worked on his speed and his skills. He consistently makes the right plays on the field while being able to create for himself. Elijah is a great teammate that unifies the group with quiet, consistent leadership. He is a tremendous asset. -coach Chris Kafsky
