Delaney Johnson - Cross Country (MS Girl)

Eighth grader newcomer Delaney Johnson had a solid week of cross country competitions. She set a 3k personal record in placing 6th out of 63 Cookies 'n Quotes racers then followed that with another PR two days later at Athens Academy, where she ran 12:46.76 to place seventh of 57 racers as the #1 TFS harrier. Delaney's continual attitude is GREAT, displaying distinct character, commitment, and consistency as a disciplined and encouraging teammate! -coach Scott Neal

Christian David/Jackson Davis - Tennis (MS Boy)

Indians of the week comes from tennis #1 doubles Christian David and Jackson Davis. The 7th grader and 6th grader have come together to form a tough team. On Thursday, Christian and Jackson found themselves down 4-7 on the brink of defeat. But, somehow, through desire, shot making, and even some blood, the pair stormed back to tie the score 7 all to eventually win 9-8 in a tiebreak. It was a monumental victory for Christian and Jackson, which will hopefully boost their confidence to perform at even greater levels as we move forward. -coach Anthony Cox
