Indians of the Week: December 12-17

TFS has named the Indian of the Week for the week of December 12-17. This week's selections are Allie Phasavang and Charlie Harris for high school, and Paisley Elrod and Woods Irvin for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

Allie Phasavang - Basketball

Allie Phasavang grabs a game-high 14 rebounds while facing off against Westminister Christian Academy. She had an incredible rebounding performance. In her 27 minutes of play, she grabbed 11 offensive and 3 defensive rebounds. Allie has a great nose for the basketball and continues to show great leadership through her hard-nosed play. -coach Lowell Hamilton

Charlie Harris - Swimming

Boys IOW is Charlie Harris. Charlie had a great meet at UGA this past weekend. He swam two personal record swims in both the 50 free and 500 free. Charlie challenged himself with choosing to swim the 500 free at this meet, the individual longest race in GHSA swimming. His determination and hard work paid off with his PR and top 10 finish in that event. -coach Rachel Nichols

Paisley Elrod - Cheerleading

Paisley has emerged as a leader for our cheerleading squad. She always comes to practice ready to work. She is willing to help others all the time. Paisley cheers with a smile on her face and spreads cheers to others! -coach Chrissy VanHooser

Woods Irvin - Basketball

Woods is a great teammate. He shows up every day positive and ready to play. He also sets the tone for the B-team defensively with his effort and hustle. It has been a lot of fun watching him progress through this year" -coach Jake Carver
