Indians of the Week: April 3-8

TFS has named the Indians of the Week for the week of April 3-8. This week's selections are Molly Mitchell and Chase Pollock for high school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

Molly Mitchell - Track & Field

Junior captain Molly Mitchell broke a 21-year 800m school record in victory at the Mt. Pisgah Invite, running 2:30.14 - presently ranked #11 in Class AD1. An exceptional leader who demonstrates GREAT in all she undertakes, Molly has improved by over five seconds since last season. She also runs the third leg of the presently #3 AD1 ranked 4x4 relay team, the open 400m (ranked #3 in Region 8AD1), and fills in for the 4x2 relay. Additionally, she is ranked #8 in the 200m in the region. -coach Scott Neal

Chase Pollock - Baseball

Sophomore pitcher Chase Pollock earned his 6th win of the season against Rabun County on Thursday evening giving him the record for most wins in a season at TFS. Chase is a highly competitive player who leaves everything on the field for his team. His teammates feed off his determination and will to win and they always seem to play their best when he is on the mound. -coach Justin Pollock
