Indians of the Week: April 15-20

 
 

TFS has named the Indians of the Week for the week of April 15-20. This week's selections are Mallory Higgins and Ryder Cantrell for the high school, and Linda White and Caleb Kelly for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

MALLORY HIGGINS - GOLF

Mallory Higgins carded a 40 for the girls varsity golf team on Thursday to help defeat Stephens County. -coach Matt Crotta

RYDER CANTRELL - GOLF

Ryder Cantell shot a 43 for the boys varsity golf team on Thursday to help defeat Stephens County. -coach Matt Crotta

Linda White - Track & Field

8th-grader Linda White won the long jump, triple jump, and 400m with a personal record, and placed second in the 800m at the second Tri-State track & field meet. She has been competitive all season, winning or scoring points in each of her events every meet this season. Linda is a GREAT Team Leader whose empathy, communication, and competitiveness combine for significant demonstration of our mission on a daily basis. She is respected and appreciated by her teammates. -coach Scott Neal

Caleb Kelly - Track & Field

8th-grade distance runner Caleb Kelly enjoys the journey of running, the satisfaction of being a GREAT teammate, and the discipline of overcoming discomfort in all sorts of weather. Because the team needed points in the triple jump, he quickly learned the hop/bound/jump event and won it at the second Tri-State meet. He is a fountain of faith, energy, and teamness who attitude is contagious! -coach Scott Neal
