Taking on Carrollton's course in the cold air on Friday morning, the TFS cross country teams had great success.

The Lady Indians finished 7th, setting a program record with their best-ever finish. The girls were paced by Avery Keim and Josie Chesser, who finished back-to-back at 31st and 32nd. Keim came in at 22:49 and Chesser 22:52. The Indians placed 13th as as a team, a remarkable finish while going in as the 18th in early projections. That improvement was a total team effort. Timothy Beck came in 38th with an 18:20 run. For the boys, Mallea set a 58-second PR, Penland a 24-second PR, and Simmons had a 9-second PR. Prince's run was 23 seconds better than her previous PR, while Griffis had a 34-second PR
