Tallulah Falls School choral and handbell musicians entertained an appreciative, standing-room-only crowd in the school’s Norwood Key Taylor Chapel on Oct. 3.

TFS middle and upper school choral students, under the direction of middle/upper school choral teacher Memrie Cox, performed in a variety of configurations. The seventh grade chorus performed Rhythm of the Rain and Shine on Me, followed by the eight grade chorus with renditions of J’entends Le Moulin (I Hear the Windmill) and Inscription of Hope. The seventh and eighth grade choruses then combined for Cantar!

The school’s handbell choir, The TFS Ringers, followed with spirited renditions of St. Anthony Chorale and If I Were a Rich Man. The Ringers are under the direction of upper school music teacher Curt Frederick.

The upper school chorus, The TFS Singers, then took the stage for performances of I’ll Make a Difference, Little Innocent Lamb, and (according to Cox) the students’ favorite, Fly Me to the Moon.

The twilight concert concluded with middle and upper school choruses combining for Let There Be Peace.

The seventh grade chorus features Lucy Alexander, Reagan Brode, Maddie Clouatre, Shelby Cochran, Sophie Daves, Nancy Fisher, Aubrey Higgins, Emily Smith, Kaylee Taylor, Katherine Tench, and Ava Wehrstein.
