The 27th Annual Greater Atlanta Christian School Invite held March 18 involves strong competition from nearly all classifications of schools and Tallulah Falls School student-athletes scored well at the event.

TFS highlights include a second 1600m school record within two days for junior Perry Gresham of Clarkesville, according to Athletic Director Scott Neal.

“Perry lowered her own previous mark by 13 seconds in a week and five seconds in two days; she ran 5:50.56; she also ran 2:38.06 in the 800 for another PR,” Neal said. “Junior Anna Davis of Clarkesville placed second in the pole vault (9’ 6, tied school record), fifth in the 300m hurdles (47.12 - presently No. 1 in Class A - Pvt), and sixth in the 100m hurdles. Junior Sophie Alexander of Chesterton, IN also had a good meet, lowering her 1600m and 3200m times.”

Neal said the 4x4 relay team (Sydney Spivey, Gresham, Sunni Brett, and Davis) again lowered their season best to 4:24.02 (currently #4 in Class A-Pvt).

Senior Zatrick Pearce of Decatur placed second in the 100m (11.34) while senior Thala Freeman of Liberia set personal records in the 200m (23.97) and 400m (53.67) and placed fourth in the high jump (5’ 10), Neal added.
