The fifth-grade teachers selected T.J. Cox of Cornelia as their October Student of the Month. “T.J. was chosen because he always contributes in class with thoughtful input,” said fifth-grade teacher Chrissy Van Hooser.  “T.J. gets along well with others and is a very hard worker!”

The sixth-grade student of the month for October is Reese Wilson of Alto. “Reese is a responsible hardworking young lady,” said sixth-grade teacher Annette Shirley. “She is a strong academic student who is a joy to teach.  She works well with others and is respected by her peers and teachers.”

The seventh-grade student of the month is Hannah Lundy of Clarkesville. “Hannah is an extremely hard-working student who will do whatever it takes to create quality products,” said seventh-grade teacher Kim McClurg. “She is a leader in the classroom, whatever the subject, and she demonstrates enthusiasm and a positive attitude in everything she does. Her classmates look to her for leadership and her teachers appreciate her manners and genuinely kind spirit.”
