Indians earn first win of season with win over Monsignor Donovan

The Indians had little trouble in Tuesday's game against Monsignor Donovan, more than doubling the output of their opponents in a 57-22 win. TFS, playing at North Oconee, was led by Sammy Davis and his game-high 21 points.

"We were excited for the opportunity to go play tonight," says coach Cody Coleman. "I was proud of the way we finished down the stretch and we are looking forward to getting back into action."

The Indians raced out to a 31-19 halftime lead, as MD struggled to contain Davis and Gabe Keene, who cleaned up nicely on the boards. Davis scored 17 of his 21 points in the first half alone, and TFS carried that momentum into the third. MD was unable to put any points on the board in the third, and the Indians outscored them 24-5 in the second half

TFS returns to the court on December 1 against Bethlehem Christian. The Indians are 1-1 now on the season.
