Indians drop second straight in 12-2 loss to Athens Academy

The Indians dropped a 12-2 decision on the road Tuesday at Athens Academy, making it a second straight loss. The Spartans used a 5-run third and 6-run fifth to do much of the damage.

The lone TFS runs came in the fourth on a wild pitch and an RBI double by Tate Shaw.

Aiden Gragg took the loss on the mound, going 3 2/3 innings of work. The Indians collected four hits, one each for Shaw, Frankey Moree, Kylar Clouatre, and Tyler Popham. 

TFS is now 12-8 overall and 6-4 within region play. The team plays again on Thursday at home against Athens Academy, and the 3-game set wraps up on Friday back on the road.
