Cross country and track and field athlete Collin Kelly, a recent Tallulah Falls School graduate, earns 'Positive Athlete' status statewide for the sport of boys cross country.

 

Kelly had previously been named a regional winner of the honors, along with Daniel Shin (ESports), but the Positive Athlete Georgia program selected Kelly as the overall winner for his sport.

 

Over 5,000 student-athletes and coaches from over 425 high schools were nominated this year, and less than 1% of those nominees were recognized as a state winner.

 

"We are proud of Collin and have experienced his unique ability to turn anything into a positive possibility, his uncanny trait to look at everything from an opportunity point of view, and his many decisions along the way to simply choose optimism," says Athletic Director Scott Neal.
