Mitchell's 13 points leads MS Lady Indians to victory

The MS Lady Indians earned a 33-12 victory Wednesday at home against Highlands (NC). Two girls scored in double digits to lead TFS.

Tallulah Falls trailed 6-4 after the first, but an 11-point second frame had the Lady Indians up 15-8 going into the half. From there, TFS outscored Highlands 18-4. Nora Mitchell had 13 points and Payton McEntire added 10.

Linda White added eight points and Lily Denard had two to round out the scoring. The defense smothered Highlands, recording 27 steals along the way.

TFS is now 3-3 overall and an even 2-2 in Tri-State Conference action.
