Rifle team sets second-best match score in win over Buford

 
 

The 2023-24 season continues to go expectionally well for Tallulah Falls Precision Rifle, as the team shot the second-best score in program history in a Tuesday win over Buford.

TFS shot 1157 against Buford's 1101 to remain unbeaten on the season. Brianna Walter set a new school record with a 298, besting her previous three program records by a point. Her 99 standing score is also a new record, surpassing her 98 set recently. Walter recorded a perfect 100 at the kneeling position for the second time this season as well.

Behind Walter, Joseph McGahee shot a 289, Leah Rogers a 286, Marc Crotta a 284, and Chloe Erwin a 281 as a fifth score for TFS. The team total of 1157 is the second-highest in program history behind this year's 1160 shot on November 15 against North Gwinnett. The win improves Tallulah Falls to now 6-0 on the season.
