TFS has named the Indians of the Week for the month of December. This month's selections are Madison Dampier and Marc Crotta for high school, and Payton McEntire and Brantley Addison for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE MONTH

Madison Dampier - Swimming

Madison Dampier has picked up where she left off last season by breaking two school records. At the Clarke-Oconee Invitational, she broke her own school record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.60. This season, she has also broken her sister's school record with a time of 1:10.58 in the 100 breaststroke. Madison is a great leader on our Varsity girls team and we can't wait to see their performance at the GHSA state meet. -coach Tamara Griffis

Marc crotta - precision rifle

Marc as Captain has led the Rifle Team for a year and a half. In that time, I have been amazed at his leadership and how the team respects him. He works to bring inclusion and harmony to the team while ensuring everyone contributes to the success of all. He led us to a top-10 finish at the State Championship last year and we are undefeated this year to include winning an away match against the reigning Area Champion and State Runner-up. Marc’s leadership and athletic ability on the range has been and is, crucial to the continued success of this team against all size schools in GHSA. -coach Katie Keister

Payton mcEntire - Basketball

Payton has done a great job so far this season. She is averaging 8 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. She has embraced her role as a post player, has a great work ethic and has shown tremendous growth. I love the confidence she is playing with and the fact that she is so coachable. I can't wait to watch what she'll do during the final stretch of our season. -coach Jenny Long

brantley addison - basketball

In a month where the A team had 3 big region matchups (5 games in total), Brantley Addison put up big time numbers. 50 PTS, 51 REB, 11 STL, 5 BLKS, and 3 AST, and 45% from the field over that span. Brantley on the season is averaging 9 PTS, 9.4 REB, 2 STL, 0.5 BLKS, and 1.3 AST per game. As we head into January, Look for Brantley to continue to have a huge impact on both ends of the court. -coach Nathan Stanley
