Prince Ave pulls away in fourth to hand Lady Indians loss

The Lady Indians remained close throughout until the final quarter, when visiting Prince Avenue Christian pulled away while handing TFS a 52-42 loss Tuesday evening.

TFS traded buckets early on with the Wolverines, trailing just 11-8 after the opening quarter. In the second, TFS continued to keep up the pace, and was behind only 21-18. Prince Ave outscored the Lady Indians 31-24 in the second half. In the final period, Tallulah Falls registered several turnovers that helped Prince Ave begin to create some distance, as they held on for the 10-point win.

Breelyn Wood led all scorers with 18 points, adding five boards. Haygen James had eight points and seven rebounds, while Allie Phasavang had nine points. Adrijana Albijanic had 10 rebounds with two points, and Millie Holcomb added two as well. Molly Mitchell finished with three points.

The girls move to 6-7 overall on the season.
