ESports gears up for state playoffs

After a well-earned Spring Break, the TFS ESports teams got started back with a bang. The League of Legends team had two big matches with top-ranked teams. The TFS Mushrooms ended up with a 1-1 record.

"Unfortunately, we did not have our starting lineup due to conflicts with other sports and lost a match which cost us a shot at being number one in the state," says coach Casey Barron. "However, the TFS Mushrooms finished the week ranked number five in the state and have one more regular season match until the playoffs begin."

The Rocket League team has played very well as of late. In four matches this week, they finished with a 3-1 record.

"Overall, the Rocket League team is having their best season yet with a 5-1 record and ranked 12th in the state," adds Barron.

The Smash Bros. team, Arcanes, had three matches this week and finished 2-1.

"All of the teams are playing well and ready for the state playoffs to begin," states Barron. "The teams are really working hard and believe it will show during the playoffs!"
