MS Girls beat Rabun Gap and Highlands, boys finish second in track meet

 
 

The Tallulah Falls School MS track teams took on Rabun Gap and Highlands (NC) on Tuesday afternoon, as the girls finished first and the boys second.

The girls who won their individual events included Jace Ibemere (Long Jump, Triple Jump, 100M), Lizita Miller (200M), 400M Relay (Miller, Kaitlyn McArthur, Chesney Tanksley, Ibemere) and the 4x400 Relay (Ibemere, Miller, McArthur, Tanksley). Runners-up included Tanksley (400M), Miller (100M), McArthur (100 MH) and Bree Wood (High Jump).

Scoring third or fourth place points for the girls were McArthur (High Jump), Wood (400M) and Delaney Johnson (200M).

For the boys, Jason Bard won the shot put and discus while Cody Loonubon won the 100M. The 4x100 Relay (Bryson Freeman, Bard, Loonubon, Wyatt Fountain) also scored five points as the winner. Runner-up places include Bard (1600M), Timothy Beck (800M), Loonubon (200M) and the 4x400 relay (Beck, Fountain, Freeman, Bard). 

Scoring third or fourth place points for the boys were Beck (1600M), Bryson Freeman (Long Jump, 800M), Loonubon (Long Jump), Josh Lander (100 MH) and Fountain (100M, 200M).
