Broome, Thomson place 61st in opening tournament

Tallulah Falls School freshman angler DJ Broome and sophomore Jack Thomson placed 61st in the season's opening tournament on Saturday. At Clarks Hill, the duo pulled in five bass fish for a total of 7.19 lbs.

The Bass Fishing team will return to action on October 21 at Oconee (Sugar Creek).
