Three score in double figures to lift MS Lady Indians to opening win

The MS Lady Indians opened the season with a solid 40-11 win over Trinity Classical on Tuesday evening. Three girls scored in double figures in the victory.

Nora Mitchell put in a game-high 11 points, and both Payton McEntire and Linda White scored 10 apiece. Handley James added eight points as well.

"For our first game, the girls did a great job," says coach Jenny Long. "They were aggressive on defense holding our opponent to 11 points. I loved how they were unselfish with the ball and played together."

The Lady Indians are 1-0 to start the season.
