TFS excels at 'Last Chance Invite' in Birmingham
In Birmingham, AL at the 'Last Chance Invite' this past weekend, TFS was one of 305 schools competing, as 600 total teams and over 4,400 athletes took part in the meet. Several put up personal bests in the process.
Highlighting the success for Tallulah Falls was senior Nnamdi Ezunu, who put up a PR in the high jump and also ran a 7.53 in the 60-meter, just .03 seconds off the school record. Others that put up personal-bests include Christian Lloy, Wyatt Fountain, Meredith Orr, Megan Prince, Jovana Dermanovic, and Olivia Henderson among others.
Top-25 performances included:
- Jace Ibemere - 8th in Triple Jump & 21st in Long Jump
- Nnamdi Ezunu - 13th in High Jump
- Boys 4x400 Relay - 14th
- Christian Lloyd - 15th in High Jump
- Girls 4x400 Relay - 18th
- Megan Prince - 21st in Triple Jump
- Boys 4x200 Relay - 21st
- Ade Akisanya - 25th in Shot Put
