MS Lady Indians beat Highlands to advance to Tri-State semifinals
The Lady Indians MS basketball team took a 26-10 win in the opening round of the Tri-State tournament Monday at home, advancing to the semifinals.
An 11-0 first quarter took the pressure off, as TFS held an 18-4 halftime lead on the way to the win.
Handley James had 13 points, while Payton McEntire had five. Linda White and Mia Kerr had four points apiece.
The girls are now 10-7 on the season, and play at Towns County on Wednesday in the semifinals.
